Radisson Blu Agra — Photography & Films
Feel Love is for Real.
Everything about this commercial I directed seemed right to me — the location, the models, the romance in the vicinity of the Taj Mahal, the music and the camera work. My crew didn't let me feel even for once that it was going to be my first theatrical release.
For me, photographing a luxury hotel has never been only about documenting rooms, restaurants and architecture. A beautiful property is also about how it feels to stay there — the spaces, the food, the people, the light, the romance and the experiences that surround it.
That was very much the approach to Radisson Blu Agra.
We created both photography and films, moving between architectural and interior images and more constructed lifestyle moments. A quiet meal overlooking the Taj Mahal, an evening around the bar, the restaurants, rooms and other spaces of the hotel — each needed its own visual language while still belonging to the same world.
I have always enjoyed bringing a cinematic sensibility into still photography and a photographer's eye into films. The two don't need to exist separately. For hotels and luxury lifestyle brands especially, they can work together to create a larger visual identity — showing the property, but also creating the desire to experience it.
