The Raw Power of Black Cat Commandos : NSG Calendar 2025
Art, Action, and Heroism
The 9th edition of the Epic NSG Calendar 2025 was recently released by DG NSG, Shri Brighu Srinivasan, IPS. Created by legendary action and lifestyle photographer Pravin Talan, along with Rupali Talan, the calendar was first introduced in 2017 as a heartfelt tribute to the bravehearts of the NSG.
Over the years, the calendar has garnered immense popularity, not only among the Army, Police, and other special forces, but also with the youth of the nation, particularly those who draw inspiration from men and women in uniform.
Here are few images from the calendar without date pad.
Speaking about the calendar, DG NSG, Sh. Shri Brighu Srinivasan, IPS,
said:
"It is an immense honour to lead the National Security Guard (NSG), a
force distinguished by its unwavering commitment to excellence and operational
finesse.
The NSG has evolved into a technologically advanced and highly proficient force. It has procured cutting-edge weaponry, achieved superior night combat capabilities, upgraded its Bomb Disposal and Detection Systems (BDDS), and integrated anti-drone systems into its arsenal. The Support Weapons Squadron (SWS) has honed its ability to operate in CBRNe (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) environments, while the National Bomb Data Centre (NBDC) and Bomb Disposal Unit have developed unparalleled expertise in post-blast investigations.
A significant addition to the NSG’s operational prowess is its enhanced Counter-Hijack Operations capabilities tailored for River Cruises in Inland Water Transport. This capability underscores the NSG’s adaptability to emerging threats in dynamic environments."
Sharing their thoughts, Pravin Talan and Rupali Talan said:
"It’s never easy to capture the true grit and glory of the NSG in pictures, nor is it a small task to create new and exciting visuals year after year. But that’s a challenge we love, and as artists, it’s the least we can do for the commandos who are real heroes in every sense."
Through its journey, this exclusive 16-page calendar has earned legendary status, exuding raw power and presenting an intoxicating combination of Art, Action, and Heroism.
